I'm Shayna Gibson, and for nearly 11 years I've had the privilege of serving our community through my work at First Community Bank in Jane, where I currently serve as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager and Lending. With 19 years of banking experience under my belt, I've had the chance to wear a lot of hats — teller, new accounts, loan assistant — and each one taught me something about what it really means to serve people well.
What I love most about my job is the relationships. Banking isn't just about numbers; it's about helping neighbors reach their goals, whether that's a first home, a growing business, or simply feeling confident about their financial future. With so much growth happening across Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas, it's an exciting time to be part of this community.
Beyond the bank, community involvement is woven into who I am. I'm proud to serve as President of the Rotary Club of Bella Vista, and I'm also active with the Newton and McDonald County Cattlemen's Association, McDonald County Extension, the McDonald County Chamber of Commerce, and the Bella Vista Business Association. Whether it's supporting local fairs, promoting childhood literacy, or championing sustainability in agriculture, I believe strong communities are built one relationship — and one act of service — at a time.
When I'm not at the bank or at a Rotary meeting, you'll likely find me on our farm — my husband, Jimmy, and I raise beef cattle — or spending time with family, learning about sustainable agriculture, or out hunting.
