MEET JIM ARMSTRONG

Jim Armstrong attended Crowder College prior to completing his college education with a degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas.

After a distinguished 50+ year career in banking culminating at Cornerstone Bank here in McDonald County, he retired from banking in Feb, 2021.  Not wanting to sit around, he is currently working at Cowin Construction as their Business Manager and Public Relations.

Jim is not one to sit still, he currently serves on several local and regional boards including: Freeman Health System, The Cornerstone Bank, Crowder College Foundation, Pineville Fire Dept., Tri-City Community Church, Inc., Work Enforcement Board of SW Missouri, and the McDonald County Chamber of Commerce.

Jim is married with two children and they live in Pineville.  Jim is also a life-long resident of McDonald County.
