I'm a lifelong McDonald County girl — born and raised in Noel — and these days I wear three titles I'm proudest of: wife to my husband Matt, mom to our daughter Avery, and County Clerk for the county I call home.
Family, faith, and community aren't just words to me; they're the foundation everything else is built on. I studied Psychology and Interpersonal Relationships at the University of Iowa, and it turns out understanding people has served me well — I've spent the last 14 years in the County Clerk's office learning this community from the inside out, and I'm honored to now lead it as your County Clerk.
At the heart of it, this job is about people. I believe in transparency you can count on, work you don't have to wonder about, and making sure every voice in McDonald County gets heard — not just the loudest ones. My faith keeps me grounded, and my belief in unity keeps me reaching across whatever divides us, because at the end of the day, we're neighbors first.
Empathy. Fairness. Purpose. That's what I bring to this office every single day.
