Bill was raised in central Arkansas graduating from the University of Arkansas. Went to work for Boeing on the Minute Man Missile complex located around Whiteman Airbase near Warrensburg, MO, after which returned for some graduate work at the U of A.
Met Lucy Mosier (from Jane) who became my wife when she graduated. Because we both had job offers from McDonnell Douglas, that’s where we worked for the next 30 plus years. As the years went by, I moved from Engineering toward computer programming and then to data security and administration. Bill retired in 1999 and moved back to her home area in McDonald County.
Bill has served on many over the years, including White Rock Fire Department, Village of Jane, Public Water Supply District, Jane Cemetery, and Foundation Board of Crowder College (active). Bill continues to hold lifetime memberships in several originations (All of which are related or connected to antique machinery or tools). Bill has served as treasurer for several of these types of clubs.
