MEET BELINDA HURLEY

"You can't depend on your eyes when your imaginationis out of focus." Mark Twain

Belinda has spent over 27 years in the title business in McDonald and Newton Counties, where she has built strong relationships within the community. She previously managed all Missouri offices for Apex Title and Closing Services and currently oversees Client Relations, focusing on exceptional service.

Community involvement is central to Belinda's mission. Since 2017, Belinda has been an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), serving in state and national officer roles. She made many visits to the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home delivering requested donations and supported local women’s shelters, food pantries and other initiatives. Belinda enjoys genealogy and is proud to be a direct descendant of an American Revolution patriot, along with having Creek Indian heritage.

She spent several years as a charter board member of the Pineville/Jane Chamber and has also been active with the local Board of Realtors, where she chaired multiple committees and was honored twice with the Affiliate of the Year award. Her significant contributions with Arvest Bank after the Joplin tornado—facilitating over 200 construction and property loans—earned her the Associate of the Quarter accolade, showcasing her impact as a non-employee.

Belinda’s roots in McDonald County run deep; her 4th great-grandparents, William and Melvina Magee, homesteaded in Cyclone in 1863. Having lived in the area since 1986, she has raised a family with ties to McDonald County Schools. All her children and granddaughter are graduates, with another granddaughter currently attending.

Together with her husband, Karl, Belinda enjoys life on their farm along Buffalo Creek near Tiff City, fostering connections that enrich their community.
